LactoSpore Probiotics were developed by the renowned German company Sabinsa Europe GmbH. They represent a modern approach to gut microbiome care. Bacillus coagulans (LactoSpore) – A Stable Probiotic Culture
LactoSpore is a unique form of Bacillus coagulans, a lactic acid bacterium that survives passage through the stomach and only activates in the large intestine, where it works naturally. LactoSpore probiotics are based on the unique probiotic culture Bacillus coagulans, which differs from commonly used lactobacilli and bifidobacteria, yet offers the properties you expect from a high-quality probiotic.
It exclusively produces L(+) lactic acid—which is natural for the human body—and thanks to its spore form, it remains stable even without refrigeration. Each capsule contains a daily dose of LactoSpore equivalent to 2×10⁹ spores (Bacillus coagulans).

Most probiotic food supplements use various strains of lactobacilli or bifidobacteria, which differ in their properties and behaviour in the digestive tract.
Bacillus coagulans represents an innovative type of probiotic. It is a spore-forming lactic acid bacterium that is present in an inactive form after ingestion and, thanks to its resilience, reliably passes through the stomach. Psyllium comes from the tiny seeds of the Plantago ovata plant, which grows mainly in the dry regions of India and Pakistan. The plant produces a fine, shiny seed whose husk is rich in natural soluble fibre.
Psyllium is extracted from these husks – a pure plant fibre that forms a soft gel when it comes into contact with water.
