Lumberjack Kalač Fiskars is made ??with a wide blade. Kalach blade is made of carbon steel forged hardened die. The new blade geometry has rounded edges extended wedge to facilitate pulling tight ax from the chopping block. The wide blade is ideal for halving blocks and shedding excess branches.
The handle is made of FibreComp. It is reinforced with glass fibers and has a high strength, durability and lightness. Moreover, it is influenced by the weather. It has the same properties in both dry and wet conditions. Instead of gripping is made of soft plastic material, a combination of a hard core and soft surface. End is coated with elastomer. The center of gravity is very close to the ax blade for much more efficient, precisely balanced and accurate cutting of logs.
