The DC40RA fast charger replenishes the battery's energy with high efficiency. Charging the supplied 4Ah battery to 100% full capacity takes just 45 minutes. Charging to 80% takes 31 minutes, eliminating the need for lengthy work interruptions on the construction site or in the workshop. Users can thus resume their activities after a short break. The total charging time for other battery types in the charger ranges from 22 to 76 minutes, depending on their capacity.
Construction
The battery with 21700 type cells prevents excessive temperature increases during heavy-duty operation. The system starts the charging process immediately after removal from the machine, without prior cooling. This principle speeds up the rotation of batteries on the job site and increases overall efficiency. The construction is resistant to demanding operating conditions. The battery slides easily into compatible Makita XGT 40V tools and ensures a stable power supply.
Charger features
The fast charger can be easily mounted directly onto a wall to save space on the workbench. The device includes a large, bright charge status indicator for an instant overview. Users can activate an optional sound signal or melody to announce the end of the charging cycle. This set is supplied in a cardboard box and is designed to power a single machine.
