Rust-Oleum Heat Resistant spray paint is designed to protect and renovate surfaces exposed to high temperatures. Thanks to its formula, it withstands intermittent heat up to 750°C and provides continuous protection for surfaces up to 650°C. This self-priming heat-resistant paint can be applied directly to bare metal or even to lightly rusted surfaces. It is suitable for use on barbecues, stoves, exhausts or engine parts indoors and in sheltered outdoor areas.

Application on metal and light rust

The paint is ready for immediate use thanks to its spray can packaging, which makes application easy. Its biggest advantage is the self-priming formula, which saves both time and effort. You can apply the paint directly to bare metal, such as new or blasted steel, and even to lightly rusted surfaces without any prior treatment. It is important to avoid applying it to substrates that have already been treated with a non-heat-resistant primer, as this will damage the layer.

Protection against extreme heat

The paint's formula is designed to withstand extreme temperature conditions. It provides reliable protection at a continuous temperature of up to 650°C and can also handle short-term thermal shock up to 750°C. The paint dries quickly; the surface is touch-dry and ready to handle after just three hours at a temperature of 20°C. These properties make the paint a suitable solution for renovating and protecting equipment that regularly heats up to high temperatures.
