The HPE Aruba Instant WiFi access point is a high-performance network device for stable wireless connectivity using the modern Wi-Fi 6 standard. This dual-band access point operates on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, achieving a combined transfer speed of up to 1774Mb/s. The device is designed for indoor use, and its compact dimensions of 37 × 160 × 160mm and 500g weight make it easy to integrate into any interior. Reliable operation is ensured by a pair of internal, non-detachable antennas with 5.6dBi gain, which provide even signal distribution throughout the space.
This dual-band access point fully supports the modern 802.11ax standard and maintains backward compatibility with older 802.11n and 802.11ac standards. The device transmits on two frequency bands, providing stable wireless performance for dozens of connected users simultaneously. On the 2.4GHz band, it reaches speeds of up to 574Mb/s, while the 5GHz band offers transfer speeds of up to 1200Mb/s. Data transfer efficiency is significantly increased by the integrated MU-MIMO technology, which enables communication with several end devices in parallel without any loss of throughput.
Wireless data transmission is protected by modern security protocols that prevent unauthorised access to the internal network. The device supports WPA2, WPA2-Enterprise, and the more modern WPA3 standard to secure sensitive information. The network administrator also has an Access control feature for precise management of individual user access rights.
The device operates in Access point mode and offers clear tools for administration and monitoring of network traffic. Its advanced network functions include the DHCP Client List, which provides detailed management and identification of all connected client stations in real time. This gives administrators a constant overview of activity on the wireless network.
A physical connection to the local network is provided by one LAN port and one WAN port with a transmission speed of 1Gbit/s for a fast internet feed. The access point is powered via an Ethernet cable thanks to its support for the active PoE 802.3af standard, which significantly simplifies installation in places without access to traditional power sockets. The included power adaptor provides an alternative power option.
