Missing Girls

Three are gone. Only one knows why.

In the Wiltshire countryside is Devil's Crest, a haunted road where strange things happen, whether it's a series of deaths or a child crying out of the darkness of night. But the case of Olivia Rutherford is the most disturbing. Four girls were driving home from a party, but then there was an accident and only one was found. What happened to the others? That's what journalist Jenna Halliday goes to Wiltshire to find out. But soon a warning comes: or she'll just become another mystery connected to this place.

After her book She Went into Darkness, Czech readers are introduced to another mystery thriller by popular author Claire Douglas.

Claire Douglas

Claire Douglas is a British author of crime stories. She worked as a journalist in the daily press and as an editor of women's magazines. However, since she was seven years old, she longed to become a writer. She did this in 2013 with her novel The Sisters, which won the Marie Claire Debut Prize. Other books followed, including The Mystery of House Number Nine (Motto, 2023). The novel She Went into Darkness became a bestseller in Britain. Claire lives in Bath with her husband and two children.
