The MSI PRO X870E-P WiFi ATX motherboard uses the AMD X870E chipset and an AM5 socket, supporting AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series processors. Power system and cooling
A digitally controlled 14+2+1 phase Duet Rail Power System ensures a stable power supply to the processor. The power delivery is supplemented by two 8-pin CPU connectors. The cooling system uses extended aluminium VRM and chipset heatsinks. Thermal pads with a conductivity of 7W/mK also support effective heat dissipation from key components. The Frozr AI Cooling feature automatically adjusts fan speeds based on CPU and GPU temperatures.
Connectivity
For network communication, the board includes a 5Gbps LAN port and a wireless module with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support. On the rear panel, you'll find a high-speed USB 4 port with a 40Gbps transfer rate, which also functions as a DisplayPort 1.4 video output. Other ports include a USB 20Gbps Type-C and several USB 10Gbps ports. For the front panel of the case, connectors are ready for additional USB ports, including a 10Gbps Type-C.
Storage and graphics interface
The board supports ultra-fast SSDs with its M.2 slot featuring a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface. You can expand the storage capacity using two M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots and four SATA III ports. The system supports disk arrays in RAID 0, 1, and 10 for SATA and RAID 0, 1, and 5 for NVMe. The main PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the graphics card is reinforced with Steel Armor technology. The board also includes an additional 8-pin PCIe power connector for stable power delivery to high-performance graphics cards.
Memory support and easy installation
Four DDR5 memory slots support a Dual-Channel configuration and achieve frequencies of up to 8200MHz using EXPO/A-XMP profiles. MSI Memory Boost technology adjusts signal paths for improved performance and stability. Assembly is simplified by features from the EZ DIY series, such as the screwless EZ M.2 Shield Frozr II heatsinks, the EZ PCIe Clip II latch for easy graphics card removal, and a pre-installed rear I/O shield.
