The Orion ELA Salad Centrifuge is a practical kitchen accessory that allows quick and easy centrifugation of water from washed vegetables. It consists of a bowl, a colander and a lid that has a rotating system in it. Place the vegetable strainer in the bowl on the central spike and cover with the lid, hold the lid by the recess with one hand and grasp the movable handle in the grey recess with the other hand. This will cause the excess water in the salad to be skimmed off. The separate bowl can be used for serving salad and the colander can be used for straining cooked pasta or legumes, for example. The Orion centrifuge from the ELA collection is made of plastic and the bowl is suitable for microwave and dishwasher.
