FITACTIVE Senior Hypoallergenic Wheat-Free Lamb 12kg
FitActive Wheat-Free Senior Hypoallergenic Lamb dog food is specially formulated for the needs of older dogs from 7 years of age, less active dogs, or dogs with food intolerances or allergies. The recipe focuses on protecting the digestive system, controlling body weight, and supporting joints. The food is completely free from chicken meat and chicken fat, which often cause allergies or intolerances. The main source of protein is easily digestible lamb. Excluding wheat helps reduce the risk of skin and digestive problems related to gluten sensitivity. It contains substances that support joint protection, glucosamine and chondroitin (600mg/kg). These support the flexibility of ageing cartilage and help maintain the dog's mobility. Older dogs have a slower metabolism and are usually less active. The appropriate fat content in the food, only 9–10%, helps prevent them from becoming overweight. Added salmon and salmon oil are rich in essential Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. These help reduce skin irritation and promote a healthy, shiny coat. Vegetables, such as carrots, peas, and potatoes, along with dried apples, provide natural fibre. F.O.S. and M.O.S. prebiotics support the growth of beneficial intestinal bacteria.
