Put it back

You can't change the past, but what if it's a chance for a new beginning?

Six years after the love of her life left her, Hallie Hart has landed an internship at a prestigious design firm in Chicago. But her ex-boyfriend, Rio, plays hockey for that same city. She thought the city was big enough to avoid him, but life has a surprise in store when she becomes his neighbour again. Even worse, the project she's been assigned—the one that could turn her internship into a permanent job—is the renovation of... Rio's house.

Rio DeLuca never thought he'd be the last single guy in his group of friends. After years of trying to find love, he's concluded that it's probably not in the cards for him. But then he accidentally hires Hallie Hart to renovate his house, and memories he's kept secret from his friends for years come flooding back. He'd already found love once—he was twelve, she was his neighbour, and a few years later, she broke his heart.

Now the only girl Rio has ever loved is moving in next door again. But how is Hallie supposed to renovate his house when they can't even be in the same room together? They may have loved each other once, but they're both different people now. Can they ever forgive each other?
