RAINPOINT Smart Rain Gauge
RAINPOINT Smart Rain Gauge
RAINPOINT Smart Rain Gauge
The RAINPOINT Smart Rain Gauge is a smart device for measuring rainfall within the RainPoint Smart+ irrigation system. It is used to monitor the amount of rainfall and provides data for a more accurate assessment of garden conditions. Measured values are transmitted to the mobile app, where you can monitor current and historical data.
Key features of the RAINPOINT Smart Rain Gauge
- Rainfall measurement
- Data transfer to RainPoint Smart+ APP
- Precipitation history overview in graphical display
- Support for irrigation optimisation in a connected system
- Suitable for more precise control of automatic irrigation
- Remote access to measured data
- Integration into the RainPoint Smart irrigation ecosystem
Compatible with RainPoint Smart+ app for Android and iOS
The RAINPOINT Smart Rain Gauge works with the RainPoint Smart+ APP for Android and iOS. It allows you to monitor current and historical rainfall values and evaluate them in clear graphs. In conjunction with compatible RainPoint Smart irrigation devices, it can help to optimise irrigation schedules according to rain conditions.
The smart rain gauge for the modern garden
The device is used for precise measurement of precipitation with emphasis on high accuracy and reliable operation in outdoor conditions. The data is transmitted to a mobile app where it can be monitored and evaluated in a clear interface. The design is engineered for ease of installation and weather resistance.
Accurate rain measurement for a smart garden
The device weighs 189 g and operates with regular data uploads every 3 minutes. It measures precipitation in the range of 0-9999 mm with an accuracy of ±0.1 mm and allows wireless data transmission over a distance of up to 120 meters. It is powered by 3× AA batteries, which are not included.
Precipitation measurement history
The device allows clear monitoring and evaluation of measured precipitation in a mobile application. The user can see the history for the last 24 hours, 30 days and 12 months, which allows long-term monitoring of rain conditions and better irrigation planning.
Connecting to an app and Wi-Fi hub
The device works in combination with a Wi-Fi hub to transfer data between the rain gauge and the RainPoint mobile app. Thanks to this, you can monitor current rainfall values, measurement history and clear graphs in the app. The mobile app serves as the main interface for data evaluation and device management within the smart irrigation system.
Wireless data transfer via Wi-Fi hub
The device is designed to improve Wi-Fi signal stability and reliable data transmission within the irrigation system. It helps maintain an uninterrupted connection between the units and the application, reducing the risk of outages during remote control and monitoring.
The package includes only the rain gauge without WiFi hub, without control unit and without batteries.
