It offers advanced vehicle tracking. Allows you to monitor alerts for small, medium and large vehicles. It provides information that the vehicle has crossed into the adjacent lane and the level of danger. You can pair it with any compatible Edge bike computer and the Varia app, which you can download to your smartphone.

It is compatible with the saddle mount kit, which is not included.

The Garmin Varia RearVue 820 bike radar has a built-in battery that provides 10 hours of illumination, 15 hours in peloton mode, 10 hours of nighttime illumination, 24 hours of daytime flashing or 30 hours of radar operation without light. It offers IPX7 water resistance, making it able to withstand splashes, rain, snow and exposure to water up to 1m deep for up to 30 minutes. You can use the radar even in inclement and rainy weather. The package also includes a mounting kit and power cord.
