High-precision stable rotation

The Technics SL-1500 is powered by a modern direct drive coreless motor that ensures highly accurate rotation and precise signal transmission from the turntable. The stable torque of the double-layer plate ensures optimum motor control, and the deadening rubber layer effectively reduces unwanted resonances and inaccuracies in rotational speed.

Superior noise-free audio transmission

The Technics SL-1500 features a built-in phono-equalizer and a high-quality Ortofon 2M RED transmission, which ensures more natural playback of analogue recordings. The Quality shielding of the phono-equalizer effectively suppresses external sounds and interference caused by the power source. The isolation of the dedicated PHONO output power supply ensures superior sound with minimal noise.

Insulated connectors

The back of the Technics SL-1500 turntable contains isolated connectors for PHONO output, line output and ground. There is also a switch for the automatic arm lift function.

Automatic lifting function

When the end of the recording is reached, the turntable automatically lifts the transmission to eliminate unnecessary wear on the record and needle. The arm is then automatically returned to the base to prevent damage from unwanted influences. Thanks to this simple, motorless solution, there is no transmission of vibrations to the arm that could damage the plate during lifting.

Minimalist design and simple operation

The SL-1500 has a sleek design without unnecessary elements, thus maintaining a modern minimalist look. Operating the device is as simple as possible. The control panel has a power button, a switch to start or stop playback and a speed selector (33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm./min) with a LED indicator light.
