The Rise of the Kingdom of Bohemia

The world has changed. In May 1848, the Great Storm struck. The ocean levels rose, flooding the world and washing away the old order with them.

From the ashes, the National Alliance, led by Richard Mělnický, arose in the Czech lands. An association founded on the ideas of the National Revival and, above all, on the will to survive. During the chaos of 1848, they established order in the Czech lands, dealt with bandits and a self-proclaimed dictator, and restored food supplies.

The year is now 1849. The chaos continues. Austria is no longer the monarchy they once knew. The Great Storm has transformed it into something new, something dangerous. Richard Mělnický and the National Alliance are faced with a choice. They can forget all their enlightened ideals and submit to the new government, which will trample on everything they believed in. The other option is to fight.

The ideals of the National Revival must live on.
