The detailed AMXFlight Corsair F4U from the Cartoon Fighter series impresses not only with its playful appearance, but also with its flight characteristics. The electronics use 6G/3D circuitry, making the aircraft suitable for both beginners and advanced pilots. Cartoon Corsair is controlled in all axes (lateral, elevator, side, motor). It flies with a self-stabilising 6G (gyro) mode - which also prevents any slowdown. If the pilot has sufficient flying experience, he can easily switch to 3D mode using the remote control and perform flips, rolls or inverted flights in dynamic aerobatics. If the aircraft unexpectedly enters turbulence, it is possible to switch back to gyro mode for self-stabilisation in a flash by pressing a button (rescue function). The board also allows operation with, for example, Futaba or other 5V S-Bus receivers, as well as DSM receivers with 3V output. This means that the model can fly with existing remote controls. It takes only a few minutes to assemble the model - the AMXFlight Cartoon Corsair F4U is ready for take-off.
