Trapped

A two-month fling, or a lifetime of love?!

Kai Rhodes is a player for a Chicago baseball club and a single dad to a little boy. Despite his busy schedule, he doesn’t want anyone helping him with his son, so nannies barely last a few weeks with him. This time, however, his manager has hired a nanny Kai can’t fire—his own daughter.

Miller Montgomery is young, wild, and untamed. For her, Chicago is just a brief stop in her successful career as a pastry chef. She recently won the most prestigious award in her field, but the pressure that comes with it is too much for her, and she's suddenly running out of inspiration. She has two months to get back in shape, so she should be concentrating on baking, but instead, she let her father talk her into nannying a baseball star’s fifteen-month-old boy for the summer.

Kai devotes all his free time to his son and has forgotten how to have fun. Miller decides she’s going to teach him again. But when she starts to feel at home with him, she has to remind them both that she’s leaving Chicago at the end of the summer. Kai initially thought he’d be glad to see the back of her, but now the summer feels far too short. Miller, however, has always been as free as a bird, and the last thing she wants is to be caged.
