In addition to wired and wireless printing, the Xerox B305DNI printer also handles document copying and scanning. For both colour and monochrome originals, you can set a resolution of up to 600 × 600 DPI, and you can scan directly to a PC, a network folder, a USB flash drive or an FTP server. You can save scans in common formats (JPEG and PDF) as well as advanced archival and secure formats such as PDF/A or TIFF. Originals can be scanned directly from the glass platen or using the automatic document feeder (ADF) on top of the printer, which holds up to 50 sheets of paper. The printer scans in colour at a speed of 20 A4 pages per minute, and in monochrome it manages up to 46 pages per minute.
