- Stereo amplifier for more demanding listeners
- Pure Direct mode for better sound purity
- Simple and sophisticated design
- MM phono input to play vinyl records
- Screw-type speaker terminals
- For two pairs of speakers (switch and terminals)
How the artist intended it
Besides its high performance, the amplifier offers the Pure Direct function, which shortens the signal path and provides a clearer sound. The sound quality is also affected by the placement of the power transformer, which is close to the power amplifier circuit. This results in a fuller and clearer sound. The amplifier has an advanced power management that enables automatic shutdown when the amplifier is idle.
Classics and everything else
The Yamaha A-S201 amplifier has one MM phono input for connecting to a gramophone, and other four inputs for various audio devices. The device's large, screw-type speaker terminals enable a firm connection to the speakers via quality cables with a larger diameter.
