Thanks to a combination of GEL and AGM technologies, the battery is completely maintenance-free, so you don't need to top up with distilled water. Its design is resistant to vibrations and corrosion, which extends its service life.

Combination of GEL and AGM technologies

The motorcycle battery uses AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology, where the electrolyte is absorbed in glass fibres. In combination with the gel consistency of the electrolyte, this achieves resistance to the shocks and vibrations that are common when riding a motorcycle. Thanks to this design, the battery is completely sealed, posing no risk of acid leakage and contributing to safety and cleanliness in the battery compartment. At the same time, this system eliminates the need for any maintenance from the user.

Battery construction and installation

The YUASA YT9B model has its positive pole located on the left, which is important to consider when installing it in your machine. The sealed design withstands operating conditions. However, it is designed for operation in a standard vertical position and cannot be installed on its side. Always check the correct polarity before connecting to avoid damaging the motorcycle's electronics.

The battery is not designed for installation in any position other than vertical.
