The BRAUN ThermoScan 7+ IRT6525 children' s thermometer offers fast and gentle temperature measurement in the ear with results within two seconds. Thanks to the heated tip, the measured area does not cool down, which contributes to higher accuracy of results. The thermometer measures infrared heat emitted by the eardrum and surrounding tissues in the range of 32–43 °C with an accuracy of ± 0.2 °C. The display backlight and night mode allow comfortable measurements even in the dark without disturbing the baby while sleeping. Age Precision technology evaluates the measured values according to the age of the person being measured, making the thermometer suitable not only for children and babies, but also for adults. The package includes 21 disposable hygienic covers for the tip of the thermometer.

Ear thermometer with Age Precision technology
The BRAUN ThermoScan 7+ IRT6525 allows you to evaluate the measured temperature with respect to the age of the person being measured. The values differ, for example, in a four-year-old child and a newborn. Before starting the measurement, the age of the child or adult is set and the colour classification subsequently indicates the result :
- Green colour – normal body temperature
- Yellow colour – elevated temperature (low-grade fever)
- Red colour – high temperature
Heated thermometer tip and ExacTemp system
The ear thermometer has a heated tip, which reduces cooling of the measured area. In addition, the soft design does not irritate the ear and does not disturb children during measurements. When used, the tip heats up to 34°C and, together with the ExacTemp system, helps to correctly position the device in the ear, accompanied by light and sound signals. The small and soft probe is especially suitable for babies.
