A switch is an active network element that connects individual devices or other network elements. It is designed for controlling network traffic. The D-LINK DGS-1250-28XMP is supposed to be placed in a rack. This model impresses with a switching capacity of 128 Gb/s. The D-Link device includes PoE technology, which provides power and signal connection to end devices with just one LAN cable. Integrated LAN ports support a bandwidth speed of up to 1 Gbit.
