The Homematic IP HmIP-PDT-PE is a smart dimmer plug designed to control compatible dimmable light sources. It allows you to switch lights on, off and dim them smoothly. Once integrated into the Homematic IP system, you can create automations based on time, sunrise or sunset. Installation requires no electrical work – the plug simply connects to a standard electrical socket. It supports dimmable LEDs and energy-saving bulbs, as well as classic incandescent and halogen light sources with a corresponding resistive or capacitive load.
