Icy Box IB-AC703-U3

The Icy Box IB-AC703-U3 external case serves as a protective enclosure for 2.5" HDD or SSD drives and also functions as a SATA III to USB 3.0 Type-A adapter. The advantage of USB 3.0 Type-A is that you can easily connect the drive to virtually any device that communicates via USB. You'll also achieve data transfer speeds of up to 5Gbit/s, so working with files on the drive will always be very swift. The second advantage is the protective case, which shields the drive from dust and absorbs shocks. You can use the case separately or in combination with the USB adapter. If you need to swap the hard drive in the case, you can do it without using any screws or disconnecting cables – simply remove it and replace it with another. Thanks to the Plug & Play function, no installation is required; just connect the USB cable to your computer, and the drive is ready to use. An LED indicator keeps you informed of its status. A solid blue light indicates that the drive is connected, while a flashing light indicates data access. A connection cable is supplied with the storage case.
