Durable construction of the Inter-Tech case
The construction uses strong steel between 1.0mm and 1.2mm thick, providing the necessary support for a fully-equipped server. The internal layout accommodates motherboards up to eATX format with maximum dimensions of 305×330mm. The robust steel chassis ensures stability and component protection even when fully loaded with twenty-eight hard drives. The 688mm case depth allows for the installation of graphics cards up to 310mm long, while the CPU cooler height can reach 155mm.
Efficient cooling system
The front panel includes two USB 3.0 ports for fast connection of external peripherals and control buttons with LED activity indicators. The cooling system relies on six pre-installed 120mm fans that create a strong airflow through the entire assembly. Three fans are located on the front panel and another three on the central bar directly behind the drive array, which effectively dissipates heat from the hard drives. Active cooling maintains optimal temperatures even during continuous operation of demanding computational tasks.
Capacity of the Inter-Tech ICP 4F28 case
The case is designed to provide capacity for installing up to twenty-eight 3.5-inch hard drives, enabling the creation of an extensive drive array for storing large volumes of data in server and workstation configurations. In addition, you can install four or six 2.5-inch SSDs, depending on the configuration of other components. Users can utilise this space for extensive drive arrays when building storage servers or mining stations. The package also includes the necessary mounting kits and slot covers for immediate hardware installation into a rack cabinet.
