Precise Scheduling by Time and Water Volume

Thanks to the integrated flow meter, you can set watering schedules not only by duration but also by water volume. You can easily specify whether the valve should water for one hour, in repeated cycles, or until the desired amount of water has been dispensed. Various scheduling modes are also available, such as even and odd days, intervals from 1 to 30 days, or a custom schedule for specific days of the week. The Hydro ONE allows you to set an operating time limit. If the preset water volume is not reached within the specified time, the system will automatically stop. This safeguard helps prevent the watering from continuing unnecessarily, for instance, due to low water pressure or another system issue. This makes watering better organised and safer.

Seasonal Adjustment for Healthier Plants

Water needs change throughout the year, and the SONOFF Hydro ONE accounts for this. The seasonal adjustment feature allows you to adapt the watering intensity to the current season, ensuring your plants don't receive too little or too much water. You can increase watering in the summer, decrease it in the spring or autumn, and pause watering in freezing weather. Weather-Based Watering

The weather adjustment feature helps adapt watering to current conditions. The system can delay the watering schedule, for example, with a 70% or higher probability of rain, humidity above 80%, or temperatures of 6°C and below. In such cases, the schedule can be skipped for 24 hours to avoid unnecessary watering when it's not needed. This feature uses third-party data, so actual conditions may vary depending on the region and the availability of current data.

Proximity Mode Without Needing a Zigbee Gateway

When a Zigbee gateway isn't available or the signal is weak, you can use Proximity Mode. This mode allows for control via a local connection and provides access to basic functions such as manual watering, schedules, seasonal adjustment, alerts for unusual conditions, child lock, calendar, watering history, and battery status display. This means the valve can be used even in places where the Zigbee network isn't sufficiently available.

Quick Installation and Durable Design

The SONOFF Hydro ONE SWV-ZFE is designed for easy installation on your outdoor water system. The brass water inlet is resistant to cracking and ensures a secure connection, while the PC + ABS body offers practical durability for outdoor use. The manufacturer recommends vertical installation, as horizontal placement may increase the flow measurement deviation.

Alerts and Protection for Worry-Free Operation

The device can alert you to unusual conditions such as low battery, water shortage, water leaks, or the risk of freezing. In the event of a water shortage, the valve can automatically shut off the supply to prevent the system from running unnecessarily. You can also set a child lock in the app, which deactivates the local buttons and leaves control exclusively via the app. This helps prevent unwanted activation or deactivation of the watering.

History of Every Watering Session

Every watering session is saved to a history where you can track the operating duration and the volume of water used. Thanks to graphs and records, you can easily identify any potential watering problems, check consumption, and better adapt the schedule to your garden's needs. The Hydro ONE can be integrated into a smart home to create automations based on other devices or conditions. For example, you can create a group of multiple valves, control watering by voice through compatible platforms, or set up a smart scene that turns off the valve when humidity is high.
