The HSS ground spiral drill bit is designed for drilling in metal with maximum precision. The self-centering 135-degree split drill tip combines active material cutting and perfect centering without skidding to achieve maximum precision. The split tip also eliminates the need for pre-punching or pre-drilling up to 10 mm in diameter. The precision ground High Speed Steel (HSS) drill bit allows up to 40% faster drilling and up to 50% less pressure than standard ground HSS chisel bits. The drill is designed for drilling holes in alloy and non-alloy steel up to a tensile strength of 900 N/mm², ...in steel, lithium, sintered iron, malleable cast iron, non-ferrous metals and hard plastic. The HSS spiral drill bit is manufactured according to DIN 338. It is an N-type drill bit with a tip angle of 135 degrees and a diameter deviation of h8. It has a U-shape, two blades and a cylindrical shank with CYL clamping system (shank diameter corresponds to the drill bit diameter). It is designed for use with portable and bench drills with a 3-part chuck.
