This processor cooler is designed specifically for high-performance workstations and servers using AMD Threadripper and Epyc platforms with sTR5 and SP6 sockets. The design is based on a massive heatsink concept, but optimised for the specific requirements of these processors. With a contact surface measuring 70×56mm, the copper base covers the entire integrated heat spreader (IHS), ensuring highly efficient heat transfer from the chip to the cooling fins.

Dual fans and quiet operation
Cooling performance is provided by a pair of 140mm NF-A15 HS-PWM fans in a push/pull configuration. These fans reach a maximum speed of 1500rpm and generate an airflow of up to 140.2m³/h. Even at this performance, the cooler maintains good acoustic properties with a maximum noise level of just 24.6dB(A). With PWM control support, the fans can run at minimum speeds under low load, making the system almost silent—ideal for audio or video production. Six nickel-plated copper heat pipes soldered to the aluminium fins ensure rapid heat dissipation.
Installation and professional features
The cooler is secured by the SecuFirm2 mounting system, which has been modified to meet the increased pressure requirements of the sTR5 and SP6 sockets. The mechanism allows the cooler to be offset by 3 or 6mm, which increases clearance for PCIe cards or the I/O panel, depending on the orientation of the socket on the motherboard. NT-H2 thermal paste is pre-applied to the cooler's base, which speeds up installation and guarantees an optimal layer thickness for heat transfer.
