The WD Purple Pro 18TB hard disk belongs among the high load internal HDDs for 24/7 monitoring systems, e.g. security cameras. The 3.5" format is made chiefly for data centres and desktop PCs. One of the key parameters is obviously the rotational speed of the HDD. The 7200 RPM RPM ensures better speeds when working with multimedia and data. The overall data capacity of the HDD is 18000 GB. The drive has a 512 MB memory cache. You can link the Western Digital hard disk and a computer or other device takes place using the SATA III interface.

Other HDD Features
Platter hard disks have a notably special construction. The communication between the HDD and PC takes place using the SATA III interface with a speed of 3 Gbit/s.
