Compressor cooling operates on the same principle as a classic household refrigerator. The heart of the system is a compressor, which compresses and circulates the refrigerant in a closed circuit. At one point, inside the refrigerator, the refrigerant absorbs heat, thereby cooling the interior space. Subsequently, it releases this heat into the surrounding environment on the exterior side of the car fridge. This process allows for achieving low temperatures, often well below freezing point, regardless of the ambient temperature. Thanks to a thermostat, which activates the compressor only when needed, this cooling method is energy-efficient. The operation of the compressor may be accompanied by slight noise and vibrations.
